DMAG continuously develop aluminum alloy for advance design in critical applications, particularly aerospace and high speed rail components. Alloy development activities pertinent to forgings have been focused on development of improved wrought alloys with superior combinations of mechanical properties, especially strength in heavy sections, fracture toughness, fatigue crack growth resistance, corrosion resistance, reduced density, and fatigue resistance.
